Your definition of what constitutes love seems to be very narrow, Intenioni. The Ian we get to know in this book is troubled, drowning, and seething in anger. They’re both good reads but they’re rabbit holes that do nothing to advance the series plotline. Lora Leigh fans, Romantic Suspense fans. Drama, action and oh so hot sex scenes! But unlike the one in Mercury’s War, it seemed very puerile and unwarranted.

You really have to have read the other books in the series for this to make sense, or you will be horribly confused.
